Pied Bill Grebes always amaze me with the size of the fish they eat. I have seen them swallow larger.

After seeing a picture of a snake swallowing an alligator whole, I am sure the bird will have no trouble with that fish. Love the reflections in this one, Garrett.

Great details and colors: the blue wake, the dark fish (is that a Bluegill?), the wetness of the feathers on the grebe's neck, the circles of ripples, the mirror reflections...

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Wow this is one amazing photo the detail in this shot is outstanding along with the reflection of the bird in the water and the colours are superb and natural .I love how the water is almost like glass and so pleased you shared this photo as I have never seen one of these cute looking birds .
