He's too lovely. Maybe he'd like to adorn my Christmas tree this year with all the other cardinals I put on it. He's a stunning little fellow.

i love this! the contrasting colors are done very well, and thanks for doing some post-work with your photo, a lot of people don't like to do that, but it really helps out.

9/10 from me, i feel like the positioning could have been a bit better, but you definitely did a better job than i could have :)

Hi Gerry, WOW, this is the most magnificent image of a cardinal I have seen in a long time! What a perfect job of framing, clarity, well, there is no room for improvement, as I view it! You are a star performer when it comes to bird photography indeed! I especially love that beautiful lime green backdrop, as is such a beautiful contrast with the red of the bird!! Excellence!! You may go to the head of the class, my friend! I have invited this cardinal into my 'House of Favorites"! Smiling, Sincerely, Marilyn

Wow! nothing like this here in the UK. I'd probably faint with excitement if this turned up on my bird table!! Great shot, fine detail and lovely composition.
Don't know how I've missed out on your work before but I've now added you to my friends list so I won't miss anymore. Will gradually look back through your gallery too.
Cheers,
Steve.

Great picture, the contrast between the red of the bird, and the green background is very striking, makes him stick right out of there. Pity about the leaf covering the tail, but thats just a tiny thing. Think it may have been a little nicer if it was rotated just a touch clockwise. But such a great photo, i really like it!
