I'm afraid I have a couple more Deer shots I am posting. This was taken last week. There was about five or six Does in this area and this one was caught on one side of creek from others. She kept looking over at her friends on other side as I took about five pictures and then I turned and walked away slowly from her and she went across the creek with her friends. Did a little bit of framing on this shot...

Really nice clarity. Sure wish I could 'bag' one of these too!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

What a great group of deer shots you've amassed Gerry. I think I favor this one the best ... but "White Tail Deer #6" is a very close 2nd. The clarity and pose in this one grabs me.
The frame works well with this ... Nice post my friend.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Really great shot...the one I love the most is still White Tail Deer 1...there's just some magic in that shot that can't be replaced...not that I don't like this...it's a lot easier to see the animal and it's a lot crisper, and weren't you nice to be so kind as to slowly walk away after she posed so nicely for you :)

~found in voting booth and had to comment~

She's a beauty Gerry!! Sweet lighting really enhances her earthy tones!! The water in the backdrop adds tons of value and gives some nice depth to the capture!!

Picture Purrrfect . You never see advertisements for string…they make string, yet you never see a commercial for string!!

What a pretty doe and she took the time to pose for you Gerry :) The composing is perfect, and the clearness too. I like the sunlight on her and the snow covered leaves. She is spot lighted beautifully with the blurred naturel background. The frames olive green is very attractive for this image. These shots of natures beauties is appreciated. Thanks for sharing this sweet lil doe :*)

No need to apologise Gerry, these are some fantastic images of shy creatures most of us rarely get to glimpse let alone photograph! Keep em comin;o) Oh, I like the framing too.
Cheers,
Steve.
