This is a picture of the pond at Objibway Nature Preserve. I have posted pictures before of this pond but posted this one to show where I have been getting pictures of these Mallards. If you look on right side of frame in center of picture one can see the ducks. These are the Mallards I have been posting. It is an intimate pond...maybe 30 yards wide with a 3 foot bank on left, not in picture. I come down through this reed covered bank with camera and tripod and set my camera and tripod on shore of pond and sit back on bank and observe and take pictures to my hearts delight. Although a few days back I slipped coming down bank and landed in 2 inches of muck, holding onto camera and tripod, almost falling in water...and out of corner of eye seen the ducks flying away as I scared them :))

Great colors to this one, also. Nice reflection. Looks peaceful. Good work on this.

OOh be careful Gerry - no duck is worth a tumble in the muck.
I really like this picture - it has a quiet tranquility that looks fine on my desktop":)

It's fun to see the whole mallard scene! The reflections are so beautiful. I wonder how many of us have fallen like that while taking pictures? I know I have.

Owd Bob takes awesome photo's, you take awesome photo's; Owd Bob slips and goes in muck, you slip and slide in muck. You guys better be careful. Great photo with the reflections and narrative explaining where all the mallards come from. Great photo. Keep them coming and be careful.

Aha! Next shot we see will be of you lying on the ground! I hope not! Sounds like you had a good thing going there. lol The reflections in the pond are brighter than the real trees. That's interesting. Seems like a great place to spend some time.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
