Caught this Green Heron late in morning about a week back. It amazed me that he could see prey in this soup he was fishing in down near end of creek where it narrows down...but he did catch prey but alas not able to get picture of that.

I see the vegetation on it's bill, seems this one had it's eyes peeled for movement in the soup, & got lucky. :o)

We seem to have some ponds with the green slime on them now Gerry. This is a top notch capture of Heron at work. Great post.

Granson’s team finished 5th. They played good.

That creek sure is green this year. I have not been in over a month nursing a bad leg, but I sure miss it. Nice shot of the heron.
