My last upload of two days back I mistakingly identified this insect as a Yellowjacket as in reality it is a Honeybee...A Yellowjacket is a predatory wasp not seen on flowers. One never ceases to learn new things. Although I am taken up by the nature walks and photography I do here I am also in a learning process of the natural world...which in a lot of ways hunbles me...

Maybe you were fooled because he looks like a very thin honey bee to me, but alas a very beautiful one. I love the brightness of the image and your usual wonderful dof.
