Who said that Mother Nature is not the best artist on this earth?
What a catch and great find, Roger dear. Very artistic yet simple presentation, too.
Thanks,

That's really a cool shot of the fungi Roger!!! The varied sizes and shapes are quite extraordinary - also the background (the spinney) complements your image nicely. Great capture!!!:-):-):-)!!!

Splendid photo of the bark of the tree, and the fungi usually so ugly is really so beautiful in your capture. Awesome work.

You really nailed the detail in these fungi, Roger! That's what we call them here in Italy and they are great in pasta dishes or sauteed and served atop a nice roast. You've got my mouth watering now. Thank you!

Great shot Roger. Perfect camera angle to expose their gills. The patterning on the bard adds to your image.

Did you think to check around the base of the tree for fairy droppings? Usually they are rainbow coloured or glow in the dark. lol.
A good capture of the mushrooms, Roger. Great colours and textures in the photo.
