Firstly a Happy 4th of July to all my American cousins out there, be sure to have a nice day. (o:

This Goose is new to my gallery, & is native to South America living in tropical forest beside lakes, & marshes. They were once very common but have become victims to hunting. )o:

Thanks for the 4th of July wishes Phlossie.
Great looking goose. I see it is banded.
Hopefully it will flourish again one day.

What a wonderfully coloured goose, such distinctive colouring. I'm sure our American friends will do their utmost to have great day whilst contemplating how much they've missed out not sticking with Britain.

Good clear shot of this unusual goose Phil. They were probably abundant along the river Orinoco in Venezuela.

Excellent detail on the goose. I like how the top feathers appear to be slightly ruffled. Nicely captured, Phil.
