Wow, I remember being up there this summere...there was NOOOO snow, was so weird. And we drove up from the "backside" at Hood River...it was so odd seeing Hood in that naked state. LOL...well so now, there are THree or more of us here in caedes who live in ORegon...This is a great shot you got...the sky is ever changing there above the mountain.ITs so odd to see the rockiness of the top of the summit! I LOVE how sharp you got this image! Its a really magnificient shot of this giant....Im SO glad you posted it.This cloud maKes it look like the volcano that it is.. Keep 'em comin' my friend...!! High marks on this one.And saved into my Favs!!
Incredible mountain landscape. In this case the central location of the mountain peak seems an advantage. Everything clear and crisp. And the clouds seem to add some final touch to the impressing panorama.
This is an A+ photo. I saw Mt. Hood early this fall. There was snow cover and it certainly wasn't this clear. The sky is that awesome color of blue that Mother Nature blends so well...the wispy white clouds add depth as do the fir trees in the foreground. The mountain itself has the best lighting. I prefer natural lighting any time I can get it and this is a perfect example of why. You have mighty fine detail for shooting a mountain top. This is going into my favorites's folder on my harddrive as well as my caedes.net screensaver slideshow folder. Thanks for the post.
This is just breathtaking. What a gorgeous view. Such a beautiful place we live in. Nice clear image and overall shot is just wonderful. Great, great work from you. A 10/10 from me.
Boy, talk about a sharp, clear picture. It definity goes on my desktop and in my favs. It is a real "Keeper" in that you caught it with that cloud right over the top like the volcano was smoking. I bet you could sell this one. Grrrrreat capture.
