This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

Heavy metal? No kidding. This is truly funky (and I like funky, btw)... a structure that appears both severely man-made and organic. The HDR does it a good job of supporting the industrial theme here but I had to Google it to find out what this unit is; the Experience Music Project in Seattle, as it's called, "a museum like no other." When I first viewed your submission I thought I could hear (faintly) steel drums playing. It appears I wasn't far off the mark. Musical instruments are physical objects, sometimes straight and sometimes not, but they all have a "flow" to their intending use... just like this building. A very nice image, great post-shutter production work, and good luck in the contest.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Outstanding. I just don't have the words to tell you how good this is. Your HDR is phenomenal. The tree adds a lot. Excellent contest entry and good luck.
I have tons of photos of this building, but none as great as this. You really captured its weirdness. (That's a compliment) :) Wonderful job! Good luck.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Thanks to all of you for the congratulations. I don't quite know what to say. Interestingly enough, this photo was just a quick one-off before I left the area.
