My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Whoah!!! (and not just because she's on a horse) That's certainly not the Joan I'm used to seeing--usually a demure maiden in armor, standing straight with hands on a banner staff or together in prayer. If she went into battle like this, the English would have likely wet their pantaloons. Cutting the image just below the hooves and including just enough of those dramatic clouds (that luckily match the statue and backdrop it nicely) is outstanding positioning (or cropping, if you did it post-shutter). I hope you placed this in Lyn's B&W Challenge; it would have been picked as a winner almost immediately.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
