The museum at Fort Rock consists of buildings, making it a rather unusual museum. But I gotta say I love heading out there and just snapping shots. Fort Rock, Oregon, USA.
In my neck of the woods, many small towns have museums that are collections of old buildings, many moved into place from other locations. In fact there's a ranch about 20 miles west of my city who has done the same--one of the buildings includes the original bar from Fort Abraham Lincoln, where Custer left to get killed at the Little Big Horn. Looking at your collection of images from this site, Fort Rock looks more like an actual town than those I see here in North Dakota. The overgrowth of those yellow bushes helps tie it all together.
