I swear to you..this looks like something I would try. I always run it up the flagpole too, but I also see the shadows and I know why you took it. Bold artistic move on your part..bravo!!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Hey, I do like this shot. Except for the use by date on the Frenches bottle there's nothing to give away the age. Classic shapes on the salt and pepper shakers and the glass. Great color and afternoon light. I can almost hear the silverware clinking.
I enjoyed this shot as well...I saw it and it also took me back to a moment in a diner on a sunny day. I enjoyed the light and the grains of spilled sugar from a cup of so-so cup of Joe...
A clever and interesting image; it is unusual in its subject matter and the perspective makes it even better. Your choice of colour is questionable as I am sure you added Sepia to denote age;however, it is not really necessary and I think B/W would work better to add depth to lights/darks/angles of glass facets.Overall? A better than average image.Congratulations!
