I disagree... I think that the darkness adds to the mystery and the greatness of this image. I can just picture the silohuette of some alien being standing at the far distance of that clearing... ooooooo eeeee oooooooo

This is image is very mysterious - It's almost like a "Light at the end of the tunnel" image. A bit spooky. Well done because it evokes such emotion.

whoa! I love the fact that when you look at it close up, it's not really black but darker shades of blue and green. one of my favourite scenics i always dream of!

this is so good! it reminds me of the book The Magician's Nephew from the chronicles of Narnia... they jump into a world that's just starting to be created, and first its nothing but dark.. and then a wood appears.. its really cool. I LOVE it!

This is probably one of the only pics that makes me make up a whole story line in my head. When you've made something like that, you know you've made a work of genius.

Seems like the woods effects needs sharpening...I know I know, It's foggy...way to dark and gothic for my liking.
