This one originally started out as a simple mess around.. i was sitting with avi showing him (tutorial-ish) how i start out on one of these site design images...but suddenly an actual design scheme spontaneously developed, resulting in this.. using the same basic layout as my GRiMsite designs. seeing as we have no limit to this contest im uploading this even though i know many will dislike for its colours and darkness etc.. :P to them :D

Nice work. I do wonder if having borders on all sides may be restrictive, especially at lower resolutions.

now this is like, opbviously i was there when u made it, & i thoroughly enjoyed the tutorial(ish), this i find very original, colourfully free floating & has a nice 3D feel to it. coice indeed, nice one G agree with O_o : )

this is pretty cool, but i think its another example of one that is too heavily themed to be a default page. Caedes.net has ALL kinds of work, i mean you know that, just every kind of work you could think of. anything with such a defined look like this will go against that eclecticness.

from a web designers standpoint (and caedes would agree here I think), hardly any of the designs submitted would even work for the site, simply because they would be impossible to split up, or the workspace is too small. another thing to think of is what reddawg said about the theme.

Remember first impressions - they only happen once.
Very cool design, I like it. I think that it is too distinct for a website like Caedes though, because it will detract from the images it will be showcasing. Definitely great for Some website though!

I agree with Sam above. Web design is hard. Being a web designer myself, I only have one comment: As pretty as orange is, it's a deadly color for web design...
