One of my favorite places, a frozen and drawn down Lake McDonald waiting for the spring thaw and runoff. To give you an idea of how low the lake is, the rock on the left is normally under 20 feet of water.
Good title. It says it all about the composition. There isn't one single "springy" thing yet to be found in the picture. But, like everything...it's a comin. Good clear composition with a message. Nice.

Hi Jim.... the mtns. and lakes are among my favorite places to be also. I agree with Ted about that big rock. Also the darkness of the hillside takes away from the photo of the lake. maybe a shot from higher on the bank with more lake involved. I do like the snow on the background mtns. and the clouds. Overall....good job.. Thanks for posting
Quite a Bit of Scenery here... as That mountain is Exceptionally beautiful! I can See the water's recession at the Tree line, which I imagine isn't a Good sign... A very Artistic composition, for Sure!
