My first sign of life on here for quite a while, so I thought I'd open with an image from my new camera that I got on Saturday. It's a Fuji S9600 and the images are brilliant quality - TIFFs converted from RAW files are 50mb, so they're pretty big. This image was taken on Super-Macro mode, and it is of a hornet(?) on a rather small thistle flower that my dad is determined to rip out! The only editing on this was the cropping etc.-no colour changes. I will put on more from this batch soon!

Wow, the detail here is amazing... and you're sure brave to get that close to a hornet. They kinda freak me out a little :S
One small thing, loving the border, but maybe next time it should be equal both sides? Just centre the image a little more. Loverly jubly :D
