This was my first try at capturing just clouds I took July 24, 2015. These gorgeous Cumulonimbus Clouds, classified as Low Clouds or thunderheads with the Cirrus Clouds, classified as High Clouds, just up above them.

I decided to use the original I posted in colour called: Up in the Clouds to turn it into a B/W for Challenge.

Using Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 converted it in the B/W and brought out more texture and detail.

I will be really busy with the skating competition with meetings starting today, getting equipment ready, checking the sound system and more. But I always have fun doing the things I love with Figure Skating. I will try and keep up with commenting, but might fall a little behind.

Thank You for your time and comments, hope you enjoyed the view.

Have a Sunny Day, ♥ Skates

Well Pat the first thing I noticed that this one sure brought out more detail in the cloud and I do like the colour tones as well..Looking at both photos again this is more dramatic looking Pat.

Compared with the colored version, B&W has created a threatening effect. Hope now that my umbrella can withstand the approaching thunderstorm, Pat. (lol)

Good one for the Wednesday B&W challenge,my friend!

I like the thunderheads in B/W Pat, it seems more dramatic and (I agree with Cornelius) more threatening.
Thank you for adding it to the BWC. I have it on my list. The Challenge starts up again on 27th January.
Would you be able to change the gallery to BWC before then please Pat :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Great one for the B&W Pat. Those gathering clouds mean some wet weather ahead I believe.
