Sorry for not being around much lately, our daughter and grandson are visiting from Grande Prairie, Alberta. Then I'm off to a big 5 day skating competition in Detroit MI, as a Music Coordinator, so you see I'm very busy and things are crazy around here.

We are walking across the Arno River that runs through Pisa, Italy & many other cities. Our car is parked down by the 6th building on the right. Hope I'm not tiring you out with all the walking we're doing, can you keep up?

Didn't too much to this capture, just brought out more detail and make it smaller.

Thank you for your friendship, patience and comments on my images. Will try to play catch up if my grandson doesn't wear me out, first lol.

Have a beautiful day, ♥ Skates

Thanks to Kathy she thought this image would fit the current contest, so I entered it.

Wonderful shot. Lovely perspective looking up the river. I think the graffiti in California is a little better than what I see here.

Looks like the river wall is as colorful as some of the buildings, covered with graffiti, even when it's painted out. The river channel appears to have been straightened out and controlled by turning it almost into a canal, over the many years that it's been "civilized", a common method of flood control. As wide as it is here the source must be a long way off.... so I looked for it. According to the atlas, the Arno runs over half the width of Italy, originating in the Tuscany mountains. I wonder what this view looks like at night with the windows lit and maybe boat lights on the water. Will be watching for more.

Pat, reading your narrative, you've a busy life. Much better than being bored all day.
Your hope not tiring me out with all the walking we're doing, is fulfilled. Not because of my physical condition, but because the strolls have been done behind my screen.
Love the wonderful addition of this series.
Have a good stay with your family, in particular with your grandson. Don't let him wearing you out, my friend, ☺ ☺ ☺ .
