Captured this image, Wednesday (2019, 05-15), of the Gateway Arch National Park in St. Louis, Missouri when I was visiting my sister-in-law.

The Gateway Arch reflects St. Louis' role in the Westward Expansion of the United States. The park is a memorial to Thomas Jefferson's role in opening the West, to the pioneers who helped shape its history.

Thank You for Your Time & Comments Appreciated.

I always expected that the arch was part of park, yet never saw a photo depicting this. There is a nice symmetry to your composition.

It's quite an engineering achievement Skates and you have captured it perfectly. I have been up to the top and you can feel it moving.
The flood waters were getting close to where it is located.
It looks great in the backdrop from the Cardinals Stadium.
Great capture and faved of course.

This reminds me a bit of the Dufferin Gates at the CNE, Pat, but much larger and taller...an impressive gateway to the park, good history intro, and well captured...best of luck in the contest.

It couldn't be symbolized any better, Pat.
Great composition/capture with an excellent chosen vantage point.
