Took this during the very busy backyard with Jack-Rabbits everywhere and going crazy. I couldn't believe they were everywhere just this morning (2021, 04-02). Maybe they are getting ready to do their runs on Sunday

As you see they are turning brown now and losing their winter coat.

Have a Beautiful Day and Stay Safe, ♥ ♥ Skates ♥ ♥

The transitional coat on the jack rabbit is beautiful Pat - great capture of the rabbit just in time for Easter!!!

Really cute - I guess they know they won't need the white coat for camoflauge anymore.

I had no idea how they looked during the transition from a Winter coat. They are really cute. Good capture, Pat!

A cute and pretty creature. He looks so warm and cozy in his transitional coat.
Keep him there though - we are currently being plagued by the bunnies digging up the garden, even scratching up lawn grass and spreading woodchips far and wide.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
