I was riding my bike in the brisk autumn evening of yesterday, when I pulled aside into a field to capture the sunset. Seeing an untouched dandelion in full bloom inspired me. Theres actually a bit of depth to the title of this one... that I won't go into right here. I hope you enjoy it :)

Very nice. This is the stuff I like to see.
Sharp focus in just the right place and just enough soft focus at the edges.
Full marks for the idea and well spotted.
I also hope your wish comes true :-)

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

I like this one very much!!

The whole feel of it, almost like the dandelion is lit from within is very nice. I don't suppose the name might have something to do with the verse in Hebrews, "Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. . ."? The whole picture seems an ideal representation of faith in trial and hope for the better tomorrow. Very nice! Great Job!!

Caiden.

P.S. If you have the chance, take a look at my gallery, and let me know what you think of a couple of my pictures. Any comments, advice, or criticism would be welcome! Have a great day!

I adore dandelions, and you have captured the fragility of this to perfection. I love the sun setting behind it, too. Hope things sorted themseves out, and you have reached the light of things hoped for....into my favs with much appreciation...Jacquie

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
