The pure, the bright, the beautiful, that stirred our hearts in youth, The impulses to wordless prayer, the dreams of love and truth; The longing after something's lost, the spirit's yearning cry, The striving after better hopes - these things can never die. Charles Dickens::: Peace and happiness in all ways, Dwight.

What a great sight Dwight. Magnificant sky and colors and the silhouettes bring out all that redish gold and fire in the sky. Terrific post and thanks for sharing it.

A very enchanting sunset, and lovely words, as always. This would be a good photo on which to try out Noiseware (you can download a free version they call their "Community" edition). Noiseware is very easy to use -- more so than NeatImage. You simply open the image and click on the "Go" button -- that's it! The other nice thing is that you can toggle between the "before" and "after" versions simply by clicking your mouse button. I tried it on this photo, and it really helps.

Mercy. Did you capture that in ole southern Indiana? I didn't know they had sunsets like that. That's a knockout and definitely a keeper.

Hi my dear friend Dwight, this is the most splendrous of all nature's glory, as seen through the lens of your camera! Simply spectacular, a display of redemption in color! You are truly the master of all sunsets Dwight! The thoughts that occur to me while viewing this image, are difficult to describe! Suffice it say, a wonder to behold! It will reside in my favorites, and I thank you!! However, it seems as insufficient graditude! Your choice of verse is always well chosen! Great work, Sincerely, Marilyn

Everyone has said it all, but I just wanted to thank you myself and echo Marilyn's sentiments. The color of that sky is something I've never seen before in a sunsetor sunrise..they're all so different, all unique unto themselves, and all are works of art that for all of us are free... :)PJ
