Nice pic and good forground but maybe you should have used a polarized lens to keep from blowing the sun out. The foreground is perfect.

James - Perfect foreground interest and I love how the reeds stop 2/3rds across the foreground leading eye to the small waves moving at an angle to the scene. Lots of elements in this shot...all are very well done. The sun does flare a bit but the scene is so well composed that it does not detract from the over all enjoyment.

I think this shot is just perfect as it is. The grasses in the foreground frame the picture just right. I Love the way the light falls on the ripples in the water. Well done, this one goes in my faves!!! :o)

Ditto to all the above. I especially love the foreground reeds. This photo caught my attention. That's supposed to be what good photos do.

Splendour photograph, with the rippeling of water. And on the
forefront the grasses.
Shining.

By the foreground composition get you correctly depth in the photograph, that finds I very nicely.

Good capture. One sees so many of this type of shot but you've done it justice. Well done, friend. anne :-)

Beautiful capture. The best thing you did for this composition was to allow the reeds to poke up from the forefront into the sunset lit sky. The entire effect is stunning. Great post.

Perfect composition!!! It must have taken you a while to find this spot. Try this next time: Use the same exposure and ISO and everything next time, but use your flash. This will light up the grass and make it stand out a bit more, while keeping the dramatic background as it is. Always take one with a flash and one without, then you can decide witch one is best afterwards - Depending on what you want the focus to be. Keep up the good work!!!
