Wow.... what an amazingly beautiful sunset I just love the darkness to the sky with reddish orange clouds. The water looks so calm also.... this is very warm & soothing. A wonderful capture.
Awesome Jen! A sky to freeze in time and you have done a wonderful job freezing it. The perspective, color, and clarity is magnificent, as is the composition. High marks and job well done!
Good one Jeenie. Fantastic colors. I guess it sounds like Bob dumped my sunset for yours. The two timin...(ha). No, it is indeed beautiful. You weren't broke down in a boat this time? That is one deep, rich sunset. Well done. Thks for sharing.

Hi Jen....now THIS photo you just have to allow me to do a canvas painting of ok???Please? The clouds are soooooooo different than any others on my paintings, and I love doing the cloud thingie...this is gorgeous. We have so many wonderful sunsets in ORegon and I see you for sure have them also...so let me know via PM about the painting ok? thank you for making me go "Ahhhhhhhhhhh" today....verena
Wow amazing sunset. Positively perfect...wish I had sunsets like that here. But no, the trees always get in the way! The only place good for sunset shooting is the walmart parking lot...and I never seem to bring my camera to walmart, so...*sigh. =)
Thanks so much for the lovely comment on 'The Dannas"...I appreciate it! I had a lot of fun drawing it...I havn't heard yet from the girls, but I think they'll like it. The photo captured the personalities wonderfully! Thanks again..

Super duper sunset Jen. U have done it again!! As per my openion if u do a portrait shot of this same location it will give a different kind of view. Where sky is huge and the land is little portraits are much better.
The swirling clouds are fantastic. What I'm puzzled over is the vertical line in the center. The right side is darker than the left. I can't fathom the cause. Ah, a mystery in a mysterious photograph.
Nice shot, Jen. Lots of texture and color. You might want to crop about half way up the sky and make the shot rectangular. You might find the balance between the water and the sky to be improved at bit. I grew up in a beach town and have always enjoyed the sense of calm that watching a sunset brings to me. I have seen your work and enjoy your images. I especially like "pump house on the James".
