wooden pier...you'd be surprised how many people were out photographing the sunrise......some of them had their flashes on. shortly after i took this the surfers arrived.

Lovely work Jen. U have captured the beauty of the moment very well. The sky looks so alive and beautiful along with the bridge almost a silhoutte. I will change 2 things about this image if can. The blues of the water is bit too deep. I will desaturate it a bit. And I will crop off the sandy part since it effect the composition and without it the image will look more matched in colors.

I love the silhouette of the bridge Jen. I wish the light posts were not on it..it makes it appear so modern :)
The water seems to be a bit over saturated, I think. The colors in the sky are amazing. Is that a ship I see in the far background? That is way cool. Good work with your camera once again....thank you for sharing that with us :~)

thank you for not putting the sun in this picture. People struggle to get the sun into frame, and the picture takes on such a harsh contrast. This picture is soft, detailed, and loaded with anticipation. Great shot.

Breathtaking picture. I love it...its definitely going into my favorites. I can hear the waves and feel the coolness of the breeze as the sun rises up. You have captured a very peaceful shot. I love the dark silhoutte in front of the orange-yellow sky. Great picture :)
