What a fascinating look at these rock formations and their many striations and how charming to find this little pool nestled in there...great study of varying textures, colors, and elements...beautiful shot.:Pat.

The pool makes this for me, as much as I love the red rocks and the way they angle out to the right pointing one's eye to the left, as much as I appreciate the contrasting color of green in the bushes in the foreground that also makes an angle to the right lending more credibility to the flow to the left, but as we follow these lovely elements to their natural stopping off point it leads us to the calm pool with the subtle reflections of the elements surrounding it, including a surprising glimpse of blue sky, covered from our view by clouds in the main part of the picture. Very nicely composed :)PJ
