Wonderfully clear, sharp photo with lots to look at. I love all the striations in the rocks, and those little pillars at the upper left. A really fun picture that makes you want to BE there! (PS, Jen: Where is it?)

what amazing rocks! - the eroded surfaces are so unusual and the colours are striking! ...and yes it looks like a dead end - not an easy place to climb over! well done Jen! Patti

quite apart from the excellent colours both of the rocks and the sky etc
its mostly the use of the shapes and layers and then the general composition here which stands out the most
the eye easily follows track after track to and from the hotspot
and so much other detail for the eye to discover ... like the distant trees through the gap at the top even the dry bush sticks at the bottom are well placed
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

What a gorgeous view. Wow! Super composition, great textures, lines and focus. I like the bit of sky that's peeking through the rocks and the bits of greenery add life and color. Although a dead end, seems like it goes on forever and what a great forever it is. Excellent work :)
Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.

Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
this is a very nice picture. what i like about your work is that all the pictures are very amazing! they follow the rules of photography, unlike a lot of other pictures on caedes. nice work!
There must be enough room for someone or something to traverse through there. I see disturbance in the loose sand down front, indicating passage, perhaps? I really like scenes like this one, in that so much of the geological turmoil and upheaval that has been going on for millennia is so easily seen in the lines, angles, and folds in the rock walls. Man has been around for 4 to 5 million years, according to the paleontological records, but what we're seeing here makes us look like newbies. I also like the composition you've created, using the lines and angles to lead us to that moribund crevice. Thanks for sharing it with us, Jen.
