as i said previously victoria falls is so hard to photograph. it's very long and narrow so including top to bottom is almost impossible in a horizontal format. really, the best way would be from the air. we took some out of the big plane but the quality is poor. they do, however, show what the whole thing looks like. anyway i stayed late to get this one. enjoy

Jen, As you said before, its very hard to photograph the Victoria Falls. So I didn't expect anymore such an excellent result (I was more than satisfied with your previous image). My compliments for this stunning image! Regards, Cornelius

You've single handedly turned my desktop into a work of art. Thanks for taking the extra time to get it right...absolute 10 from me in the voting booth, if I get so lucky!

That is the longest fall in the world, isn't it? What a job you did on this. You got the full distance horizontally as well as the beautiful rainbow and the lovely mist and without falling over the edge of that ledge. I am very impressed. It's beautiful, Jen!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I just had this in VB. Gave it a 10. Would have given it more if I could have. I had to go find it after I voted so I could save. Glad you left part of ledge in so it gave me feel of depth. Rainbow was great.

Jeenie what a great photo even in the worst conditions. You do us proud. If i were to make it better, I would lower the brightness of the grass and use some noise reduction. But an excellent photo with your situation.

I completly agree with you! Victoria Falls is so hard to take a good photo of, you would have had to find just the right spot were you didnt get drenched from the spray (wet cameras arnt known for great pictures either, i know!) I love your photo the compostion is beautiful. did you take it around the end of the rainy season? well anyway beautiful shot.

You were lucky to be there. I get the feeling it's so huge you can't take it all in with a single shot. This is a striking image, though.

I found this shot to have quite a fair bit of quality. The majestic rainbow is in full view, the falls are right where they should be.

What I didn't really like was the somewhat pixelated cliffs or rocks but I must say, given the difficulty of this shot (as you mentioned earlier having taken it out of a plane), you have done really well. Kudos and keep it up!
