"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Jim wrote "Amazing" ... I agree. Pat asked "where were you" ... I wonder as well. PJ wrote "great shadows" ... she's got that right. Sure made this comment easy for me. Thanks guys and gals and Thank you Jen for posting this wonderful shot.

This image satisfies fully my refined artistic taste [it may not be my strikingly apparent feature though LOL...] and some adventure-seeking as well as researcher's hunger for ancient treasures !!! LOL
Jen, dearest friend, this is simply stunning amazement of an image !!!
And they accuse me of being full of Hot Air! What a great shot of the two below you. I never see a balloon that I don't think of "Around the World in Eight Days." The original with David Niven and I think Cantinflas. Is this dedicated to Fogz. I like the colors of balloons (now) versus color of ground (past). Very good Jeenie.
And I thought you were a bird! lol Just kidding. This is wonderful, Jen. I really love the shadows cast by the balloons on the ancient landscape. The lighting is super. The sun must have been really low because those shadows are extremely long.
A totally amazing scene. I envy you your travels! lol
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I notice you are 'always' in the top most balloon my dear! lol
best place too, I think! ...cracking shot and yes, I have to admit, a funny place to land!
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Amongst ancient ruins? On the contrary, that's an EXCELLENT place for a landing...just so long as you're not disturbing anything structural! (LOL) Nice post!

I imagine you had one hell of a perspective to be looking down on a balloon in mid-air. Great, clear capture. One minor thing for me, is the tree(s) in the lower left corner. Do you suppose the shot would have a cleaner feel to it without them?
