I could sit there for hours if Owd Bob would quit yelling!! What a view. No wonder Indian tribes are squabbling over border. This canyon leads your eyes right up to the sky. Awesome coloring but it's not like any coal mine I ever saw. Very good Jen.
Lordy, lordy, what a view! I'll take LynEve's Wow and double it! What a totally awesome sight! Such clarity and stimulating color, form and line. Did you use a wide angle for this engaging shot? You better believe I faved it!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Just came from the VB. Had only one image come up that I thought deserved a "10". Guess which one it was ... ? Did you think it was this one ? ... You did ? Wow, not only good with a camera ... but clever as well. :)

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Genie, you just lifted photography to new heights!
What an incredibly clear and colorful (2) shots you delivered, it's truly amazing.
And I do believe that anyone who awarded you with anything less than a 100 should be banned from this site.
I wished I could have been standing there, next to you and taking in this wonderful landscape.
Anyway, what a comeback!

This picture is simply amazing. I especially love the sharpness of it. If you don't mind me asking, what camera, lens, settings, etc. did you use? I love landscape photography.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Great shot, with lovely colours and detail.
