Great snapshot! These female cardinals have a more grayed-down color than their male counterparts. Note the bird on the left has a black beak identifying it as a teenager. Once it matures, its beak will turn orange like its mother's, who is on the right in this pic. Looks like the daughter is still expecting food from mother's beak. A beautiful capture of this pair of female Cardinals. I can't for their return as I only see males once in a while. Looks like they are chatting about something. Very well done, Jen.
