Rice farming is backbreaking work, and for most farmers is done completely by hand and without the help of machinery. Thailand is the world's largest exporter of rice.

This is fascinating! I don't know much about rice growing, but I am always awed that it grows in water and looks like plugs of grass! Great capture.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Terrific shot - well captured. Composition is spot-on and the colours graduated beautifully into the distance. Happy memories of Thailand (sigh).

Nice shot. Presents the daily life of another culture very well.

This is an interesting idea yet I think things like this are better painted. I looks like you did not ask that person to pose for you to take the picture and that they were just going about there regular day. Those kind of pictures are better although sometimes it is difficult to tell a pose from typical daily work shot. Here we would not know if you did not tell us. I would like to work with the image in a image processing program but I am not sure about the rules of using others work as sources for new pictures.
