Construction of the Colorado river bridge. Saw this last week while in Vegas on vacation. The temp on the Hoover dam was about 115 degrees. I would hate to be working in those conditions. It was neat seeing the progress that was made since my last visit in 2007.Prior to construction I saw the survey crews in 2005

Bob, I sure hope they do meet in the middle. Wonderful cpature and love the US flag flying. Beautiful colours

Unusual shot! Looking at the thumbnail, I thought it was a lock opening in water. I see the Arizona flag is up there too. You mentioned 115 degrees...years ago I applied for a job with Arizona highway maintenance. Perhaps it's best it I wasn't picked.
