This lovely rose is another winner from the rose show in my series. Kindly Enjoy!!!! This afternoon, while doing some editing on this image at my computer, at 4:47 p.m. EST, I began to see that my monitor was shaking and felt a rumbling sensation under my feet. Thought at first it was caused by some type of aircraft, because in some instances, they do fly low over the house. I took note of the time and indeed we did experience an earthquake 4.1 on the Richter scale. I would say it lasted for approximately 15 seconds - Ground zero was Dover Delaware and could be felt as far away as Connecticut. It was a cool experience and lucky for all of us no damage occurred. Wishing everyone at Caedes a steady and Great Weekend!!!!!!!!

It is a shock - I have also experienced such a mild earthquake a long time ago. I thought it was my body shaking before I saw other things shaking too. A wonderful rose with very pretty colors and delicate petals which you have captured so well in this excellent shot Lura.

Laura, although I got used to live on a moving platform (my ship at sea during a heavy storm), I would be frightened to experience such an earthquake. Happily there was no damage and were no injuries.
Your Foofy Friday image is a 'shaking' one (figuratively meant) because of its very high 'Wow-factor'. Just excellent!

Wish you a great and steady (☺) weekend as well!

What a beautiful flower, the color is superb. Laura, I'm so glad you suffered no injuries, or damage. I have felt a few of them when I lived in Calif. One time I actually saw the newsman on tv moving and then seconds later I felt the quake as it traveled south from San Francisco.

I know the feeling Laura. I used to live in Southern California, nuf said.
I can see why the rose made it to the winners circle.

wonderful markings on this rose - almost dappled unusual in a rose.

I like the way you have the color popping out away from the background. It is a excellently composed pic. :)
