The Chrysalis - the 3rd stage in the cycle of the monarch butterfly - the length of the chrysalis measures 25mm - if you look closely, you can see a visible wing - the monarch will emerge in 10 to 14 days - the wings are folded within in the chrysalis and upon emergence, fluid is pumped through the wings to allow expansion - the new monarch is wet and has to dry out which takes approximately 3 to 4 hours and then its ready to fly - Kindly Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
