I love peonies and was lucky to find this one growing at the monastery - when the township purchased the property, they removed many flowers that had been growing there for years - but they did not remove the pink peony plants - Kindly Enjoy - As always, I'm wishing everyone at Caedes a Great Weekend!!!!!! p.s. I usually shoot a nice variety of peonies that grow on the grounds of a retirement community, however, since Covid, access to the grounds is prohibited to the public - maybe next year - I really miss that pretty peony patch.

Laura, in my garden I've two species of peonies, a pink colored species like the one that was perfectly captured by you, and a red colored species. I've provided Caedes in the past with photographs of both species. This does hesitate me to capture them once again.
On the other hand, good flower captures are never boring. Your Foofy Friday (F²) contribution proves this again.
