This lily recently bloomed (June 16, 2021) in the lily patch at my local agricultural center - the first to do so - there are many varieties that grow there - it will be a couple of weeks before the others are in bloom - this patch is very significant to me as it borders the sheep pasture and wheat field in the image that I shot last year in tribute to honor my late husband - Kindly Enjoy the new lily for Foofy Friday - many more to come - As always I'm wishing everyone at Caedes a Great Weekend!!!!!!!!!

---this patch is very significant to me as it borders the sheep pasture and wheat field in the image that I shot last year in tribute to honor my late husband---

Laura, your above quote, and Kathy's comment above make me silent, because I realize very well what the loss of your husbands have done to both of you. My dear late wife has passed away almost 8 years ago, but I still feel the pain!

Your splendid (Foofy Friday, F²) capture is a very good tribute to honor your late husband. Cherish the fond memories!

I wish you a good weekend as well!

Unusual coloring, but beautiful. I like the way the petals alternate in color. Nice capture.
