I might live in France but I am still american! This is my first try at doing something like this, I used three different photos of the sky for this, the red is an enhanced sunset, the white is a bunch of clouds and the blue is actually the background from "Moonlit Romance", so it's not a sky. The stars probably could have been better but I hope you'll all like this anyway. I don't have photoshop so all this was done with pixia and photofilter. All comments and advice are welcome. Happy 4th of July!

Hey Jess,
Very creative work, I particularly like the use of a sunset image to get those sublime red stripes,
Then the stars, a different take on the subject, and I do believe you would do fine as a flag designer, (~8 8~)
Beautifully done,

Thanks for sharing
Warm regards

Tim

PS; I didn't know you were American (~8

Hi Jess, glad to be the first to comment on this. At first I thought it was just a straight flag shot, and then read on! Well done! It's a fab pic, and I have yet to try merging (is that what they call it?) I'm just not sure I could be as creative as this though... Paul :]

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Thanks for your tribute to America, and how nice it is.
You did a good job here. If you had photo shop you could really get creative. I need that program also! Nice work with the lights and darks. Have a great French National Holiday.
Keep it real..

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Whoever puts his trust in God's Son will not be lost but will have life that lasts forever.
