Hi Jess

Beautiful image captured here, great reflections on the water and I like the low sunlight to the right of the pic. Would be interested to hear what you think of your new camera! Great first post with it anyhow!

Paul :)

Oh I guess I should have said that in my description... I LOVE MY NEW CAMERA! I've got two lenses, a 18-55mm and a 55-200, so I can do a lot. It's my first DSLR, before I would just take photos with a compact camera (Canon IXUS 50). I've got so much to learn now... It's going to be very fun :)

Very nice shot! Well done indeed. This would make for a great painting as well. Good job! :o)

Hey Jess,
A wonderful New Year to you and yours, (~8
I see you're already having lots of fun with your (New-year's-present?) new cam, 8~)
I have a Nikon D50 for almost 2 years now (sort of the predecessor of your camera), but I think of selling it since I just purchased a new (bigger) Nikon camera, (~8 8~)

Lots of luck and beautiful images for 2008
Warm♥♥regards

I like the sun light coming over from the right side of your photo and illuminating the tree and bench. It looks like a great place to sit for awhile.

cool, u've got a D40! U'll love that camera for it's simplicity in use. I have a D40, too, but not D40x... And use it more often than my Fuji S5 & D200...
