I took this at the American cemetery in Normandy,France located above Omaha beach. That day I visited a lot of different spots in Normandy, marked by WWII. Many commemorations are displayed all over that French region in honor of these American soldiers who gave up their lives. We remember!

A fine shot. It is good to remember the sacrifices of the past and hold onto a hope that history will not repeat itself...

a wonderful shot, so sullen and peaceful, but with hope for the future.

Awesomeness. A great reminder that there is no freedom without sacrifice. That without men who are willing to give up their lives for what is right, nations will fall.

Thank God for the soldiers who fight for freedom, and fight to keep it. May there always be such men.
