View from above Oxarafoss, the waterfall diverted from its previous course to provide water for the Althing the ancient parliament set up during the early settlement period of Iceland. It was a bit of a climb to get up here, but the views were well worth it! Just had to wait for the rain to stop to get those moody skies without getting the camera wet. Behind me, hidden by clouds, the sun was setting, which cast no light on the land but seemed to light the clouds from within.
