Okay, so I put that leaf there (and at this point fell in...) but the rest is how it was - all these autumn leaves drifting past the rock, sending trails of colour through the long exposure. f/22 to allow for a 25sec exposure under cloudy skies and ISO 100. I took about 40 shots like this, and this is my favourite...

This is so cool. The trails left by the passing leaves it wonderful. Superb shot. Makes me want more :P long exposure shots, so keep them comming :). Paul

Beauty is no quality in things themselves. It exists merely in the mind which contemplates them, and each mind perceives a different beauty.

The sacrifices you make for a good shot! It was worth it. I love the effect that the long exposure gives with the fall colors flowing past the rock.

Great experimenting, this shot is worth all the effort! The rush of color while one item is still is fantastic. Well done!

Very nice! I really like the blurring of the long exposure in contrast to the clear focus of the leaf.

I saw this in the voting booth and had to come back to figure it out. It's simply stunning. I usually can find somthing I don't like in an image to give a suggestion on how to improve it...but not here. 10/10 +fav...terrific!

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill
