On return from a successful photographic trip into Snowdonia, not two miles from home this photo was taken and is one of my favourites from the trip. I've never had much success here in the past - to emphasise the starkness and jagged nature of the wooden posts the tide needs to be in at the right time and in the right conditions, along with the right time of year for the aspect of the setting sun. The conditions were all there, so I made my way to the beach and walked away with this, along with a few others. As ever, f/22 and 20 seconds

Magnificent in many ways. Especially the depth of field. But not least because of the powerful expression of the great outdoors that this photo displays. Such work is top rate and I applaud you.

This is an amazing shot. The sky ... I do not think, I ever saw something like that in nature (in kind, you've made it at photoshop, please dont tell). It is funny, nothing "happens" on this picture, but still it is great!!!

Just so you all know, I don't make ANYTHING on photoshop!!! I do not manipulate images, putting the sky from one photo over the sky of another. I'd say thankyou for the compliment - but it's not me you're complimenting - it's nature! Such a sky isn't rare here on the coast above Wales, you just have to have the right conditions, composition and luck to get it all on camera and into a successful shot...

I love this to bits!! It makes such a stunning wallpaper. Another item of proof that often, simplest is best. VERY well done, I'm green with envy. (Added to my fav's)
