This is an interesting subject, though the strength is in the texture and focus of the image.

I'm not sure I am seeing wood. What I see is rusty springes of all shapes and sizes. At any rate it is a wonderful image. The texture and color are terrific. Good job!

i like it! wish more were in focus, however. The one in focus makes me think they are steel shavings that have rusted, but the flat coiled one in the background (top middle) makes me think they're wood. Very creative
