There is something really special about new leaves, isn't there? They are so soft and usually such wonderful colours. You've captured this so well in this shot, MFJ. My only problem is that it's a Sycamore which are not my favourite tree.We have a 30 year old one outside our house on the pavement and it drops sticky residue on the car and it's a swine to clean off!! LOL (rant over!)

Strange to think you are just seeing the new growth and we are loosing all our leaves. I took a trip to the Public Gardens today top get some Autumn colour but I left my run too late - many of the trees were bare.
