Thanks guys and Mimi and you are right Matt that is my favorite Autumn tree.Is that what it is called Darryl a Japanese Maple I would really like to know.I'm off today to hunt for Autumn.The sky is blue with plenty of available light.Wish me luck.

That is the tree! I think it is a Japanese maple Joe. I am fairly certain it is a maple like the red tree in this image.
