This was taken at Lake Powell last month. We actually spent the night on our boat in this canyon. I can't remeber the name of it but It's the first canyon on the left going up the Escalante River.

What a wonderful capture Jackie. The lighting is amazing and the mirror in the water just is awesome. What a great photo. Thanks so much for sharing it. Anita
I wonder if you could go wandering around in there further back? I would be tempted and probably get lost. I love the lighting in this. It is really revealing. The pastel colors are pleasant as well. Great clairity. How a swim? Did you go swimming? Very lovely capture.

Wonderful, the rock formations, shaded in the background, lit up within the canyon! And the reflections. It looks like a wondrous place to visit. A boat would certainly feel safe tucked in that slot!
The light is awsome, providing the rocks with interesting saturated shades of pink/red. And the shades offering a nice contrasting blue color. I am impressed with the complex textures of the rocks. Great photo.
What beautiful colours! You took a truly lovely shot of this area...but oh wow, I dont think I could spend the night in such a rocky area....You got the lighting just right...to show off the water and those rocks...nice job! Verena
This beautiful photo, makes me feel a really unusual sense of...FEAR! Its from these times, you think that in this lonely cold place, you are helpless and something will comes up from the shining water! Nice job,Mister!
Oh wow what a great shot. You caught it in very good light and the stripes and pale colours in the rock are wonderful. It's unusual too, I haven't seen anything else like this on Caedes.
