The Escalante River is about mid lake on Lake Powell. This was taken late in the day therefore it has lots of shadows. I would have liked to wait for a better time to take it but we were heading back up stream.

Dynamite shot Jackie. Am I correct in assuming that the white line on the rocks is a water line? The glass mirror of the water is too cool. Such a nice capture. Thanks for sharing it. Anita

WOW.... what a picture. Great shot, Jackie, very well balanced and composed. I like it how my eye is lead with the stream. A little enhancement of the contrast would make this picture look even more impressive as it already is. I tried it out in Photoshop and it worked out fine. Thumbs up !!!
