"I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled [poets] to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean."
--Socrates (in "Apology")
Sheesh and boy howdy...you never fail, Mr. Cowardly. I don't know how you do it...are you sure you got the courage and not the brains? I know you've brought your own imagination along!!
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
...so we can find out way back? lol This has a yinny/yangy look to it, don't you think? That was my first impression anyway. Then again, it's almost like a whirly-gig with a stick running right through the center and you can take that stick and make the whirly-gig go round and round, just like an old fashioned toy of some sort. Nice piece, Hans. Gretel
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Seeing this and your profile photo instantly reminded me of the books "Chronicles of Narnia" where (if you don't know it) these kids keep on going into other worlds and the Lion is actually the main character.. Anyways..I really like this creation - great colors and simplicity all in all. Very nice! :)
